Travel from Khajuraho to the Panna safari zone and set out on a thrilling open 4×4 jeep safari through the national park. Keep your eyes open for Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, chital, sambar, nilgai, wild boar, crocodiles and a wide variety of birds. The safari takes place with an experienced naturalist or forest guide who can help identify wildlife and explain the park’s ecosystem.
Panna is particularly known for its scenic wilderness and wildlife diversity, making the safari an excellent addition to a Khajuraho visit. Enjoy the changing landscapes as the jeep moves through the forest and along areas surrounding the Ken River.
After the safari, return to Khajuraho, completing a convenient half-day wildlife experience without requiring an overnight stay in the national park.

Explore the natural habitat while looking for Bengal tigers and other wildlife that may be encountered during the drive. Depending on the safari zone and natural conditions, you may also spot leopards, sloth bears, chital, sambar, nilgai, wild boar, crocodiles and numerous resident and migratory birds.
Continue through Panna's varied landscapes with an experienced naturalist or forest guide, who will help identify wildlife and explain the behaviour, habitat and ecological importance of the species found within the park.
After completing the safari, leave Panna National Park and return to Khajuraho, concluding your half-day wildlife experience.
