Embark on an immersive 4-day journey from Delhi to explore the captivating blend of wildlife and ancient architecture in Madhya Pradesh. Your journey begins with a morning departure from a designated point in Delhi. You will travel to Panna (the mode of transport – train or private vehicle – will be specified in your booking details). Upon arrival in Panna, you will check into your pre-arranged accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and prepare for your wildlife adventures.
Early morning will see you embark on an exciting jeep safari into Panna Tiger Reserve. Experienced forest guides and drivers will take you through the park, tracking wildlife and offering opportunities to spot tigers, deer, various bird species, and other inhabitants of the reserve. After the safari, you'll return to your accommodation for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you will have another jeep safari, increasing your chances of wildlife encounters and allowing you to explore different zones of the park.
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Panna and proceed towards Khajuraho (approximately a 1-2 hour drive). Upon arrival in Khajuraho, you will check into your hotel. In the afternoon, you will embark on a guided tour of the famous Western Group of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide will explain the historical significance, intricate carvings, and mythological stories depicted on these magnificent temples, including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, and Vishwanatha Temple.
After breakfast, you will have the option for some further sightseeing in Khajuraho, which might include visiting the Eastern or Southern Group of Temples, or perhaps exploring a local museum. Depending on your departure schedule, you will then be transferred to the railway station or another designated point in Khajuraho for your journey back to Delhi.
