Embark on a captivating 3-day journey from Delhi to explore the cultural heritage of Khajuraho, the wildlife of Panna National Park, and the natural beauty of Raneh Falls. This tour utilizes convenient train travel from Delhi and offers a well-rounded experience of Madhya Pradesh’s historical, natural, and adventurous highlights.
Your journey begins with a morning train from Delhi to Khajuraho (train details will be provided in your booking). Upon arrival at Khajuraho railway station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you will embark on a guided tour of the famous Western Group of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore magnificent structures like the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, and Vishwanatha Temple, and learn about their historical significance, intricate carvings, and mythological narratives from your expert guide.
Early morning, after breakfast, you will travel from Khajuraho to Panna National Park (approximately a 1-2 hour drive). Upon arrival, you will embark on an exciting jeep safari through the park, accompanied by experienced guides and drivers, offering opportunities to spot tigers, various deer species, birds, and other wildlife. After the safari, you will proceed to Raneh Falls. Witness the unique and colorful canyons formed by the Ken River and, depending on the season, admire the waterfalls cascading through the rock formations. In the late afternoon/evening, you will return to your hotel in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, you will have the option for some further sightseeing in Khajuraho, perhaps visiting the Eastern or Southern Group of Temples, or exploring local markets. Depending on your train schedule, you will then be transferred to the Khajuraho railway station for your train journey back to Delhi (train details will be provided in your booking).
