Itinerary

Meet your local guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Choose to stay at your hotel and relax or explore Delhi, the bustling capital of India. Overnight stay at Delhi Hotel.

Start your 5 Hrs journey to the famous city of Agra and the stunning Taj Mahal, covering a distance of 240 KM. Marvel at this monument, built for love in 1631 and now one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Visit the Agra local market in the evening time. Overnight stay at Agra Hotel.

Visit Agra Fort, a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before being captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas. Head to Dholpur by covering a distance of 60 KM which will take you about 2 Hrs. Dholpur is an ancient and relatively smaller town, brimming with palaces, forts, temples and wildlife, which makes it worth a visit. Some of the noteworthy sites include the Nihal Tower, which is a clock tower and locally known as Ghanta Ghar; Dholpur Palace, which is an amazing red sandstone structure; 16th-century Shergarh Fort, and ancient temples, including Sant Nagar and Chopra Shiv. Apart from the stunning historic architecture, getting up close with the local flora and fauna at the Van Vihar Sanctuary is also a great experience while in Dholpur. Spend the night at "Raj Niwas Palace”. A former Maharaja residence converted into a palace, it is a beautiful example of Rajasthani Mughal architecture.

Drive on small country roads and see the landscapes change in front of your eyes. During the bike ride, see the roads winding through arid lands gradually giving way to greener regions and cross typical Rajasthani villages. Ride your bikes to Ramathra Fort, covering a distance of 150 KM from Dholpur, which is a 3 Hrs ride. Built atop a hill in 1645 by the Maharaja of Karauli, this fort offers stunning views of the Kalisil river, the lake and the surrounding countryside. It belongs to one of the dynasty’s descendants today. The family has respected the character of this beautiful building by restoring it year after year in line with traditional construction techniques. Stay overnight at Ramathra Fort.

Continue your ride to Ranthambore National Park. Drive 70 KM from Ramathra Fort to visit this park which will take you about 2 Hrs. This nature reserve is known for its extraordinary wildlife, especially tigers, which can be spotted if you're lucky. Leave the bike for a jeep safari, where you get the chance to spot plenty of crocodiles, birds, sambar deers, monkeys and maybe even tigers. The park sometimes closes its gates to prevent damage due to the influx of tourists. The safari is therefore not guaranteed. Spend the night at Khem Villas, a 5-hectare ecolodge offering three types of accommodation- tents, rooms and cottages. It’s a charming, elegant place surrounded by nature with comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. Meals are prepared with organic vegetables from the lodge’s garden. It also has a bar, library and natural swimming pool.

Explore the hotel’s idyllic surroundings. Go for a 4 Hrs ride through the pristine Indian countryside and arrive in Bundi for a relaxing afternoon. You will be covering a distance of 170 KM on your bike. Take a stroll through the bazaar and the old city or visit the main palaces and famous frescoes, considered some of the finest in Rajasthan. Bundi remains charming because it has yet to become popular with tourists, given that it is off the beaten track. Spend the night in Brij Bhushanji, a haveli built in the traditional Rajput style 150 years ago. It boasts magnificent views from its terraces and comfortable rooms.

Take your time over this 120 KM ride, which starts off with uneven roads and gradually improves as you approach your destination. Arrive in Shahpura after a 3 Hrs ride. This district is known for its 250 lakes, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Spend the night at Shahpura Bagh hotel, where the hosts love to say that their customers come as guests and leave as friends. Once the summer residence of the heads of state, Shahpura Bagh is surrounded by an oasis of foliage and small lakes. It boasts a superb swimming pool and comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms.

Hit the road for Sardargarh, a 130 KM long journey, to the foot of the Aravalli mountains on good quality roads. Sardargarh Singh built the fort between 1738 and 1743. Legend has it that the King of Udaipur was so impressed by the fort’s architecture that he appointed architect Thakur Sardar Singh to supervise the construction of Jag Niwas, Udaipur’s famous "Lake Palace". Overnight stay at Sardargarh Hotel.

Go further into the heart of the Aravalli mountains. Ride on beautiful, small roads winding through the valleys. Witness the charming country life as you ride through this region for 2 Hrs. Observe women washing at the wells and turban-wearing goat herders and nomad families with their donkey-pulled carts and angry-looking dogs. End this leg in Udaipur, which is approximately 90 KM from Sardargarh. Often referred to as the Venice of the East, Udaipur was built on the banks of Lake Pichola. The Aravalli mountains surround the city, making for a remarkable view all year round. The city boasts of many palaces, some of which have now been converted into hotels and restaurants. You can spend the rest of the afternoon visiting the city. Overnight Stay at a very comfortable hotel.

Visit the City Palace, a palace complex situated in the city of Udaipur, built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Go to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a garden located on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake, presenting a green retreat in the drylands of Rajasthan. It was built from 1710 to 1734 by Maharana Sangram Singh for the royal ladies. Pay obeisance at Shree Jagdish Temple, a world-renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. This three stories and 79 feet high temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651 at the cost of 1.5 million rupees in that times money. It is owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. Make your way to Bagore-ki-Haveli. Watch "Dharohar" folk dance show in this gorgeous 18th-century haveli that has been converted into a museum showcasing Mewar art and architecture. The haveli puts on one of the best Rajasthani folk dance shows in Rajasthan. For an hour, performers dance to Rajasthani folk music wearing bright coloured ethnic dresses. The dances are varied and demonstrate the tradition and culture of Rajasthani folklore. Enjoy all the available activities and performances like the Puppet Show. Dharohar Dance Show ( After 7:00 PM) and Haveli Museum Tour and shop at the Turban Section, Weapon Section and the Wedding Section. Overnight stay at Udaipur Hotel.
